Yeah but at the time I didn’t know that so it was quite overwhelming.
Basically I was like ‘omfg this fandom is crazy and you ACTUALLY exploded a website holy crap’
Someone told me later that there had been a hiatus and I guess a lot of people started reading then so the fanbase got huge by the time the update rolled around.
